What is your first experience with discovering (or being discovered by) your spirituality call? And the most memorable one?
How did it feel? And how does walking your spiritual path feels like, along the time?
If what comes to your mind is “shock”, “surprise”, “insight” or even “unexpected”, you are damn not the only one
It could hit you amidst some peaceful or even dull and draining household chore, and so hard you almost drop that washed dish on the kitchen ground.
It could crawl in almost unnoticed, with a flood of synchronicities following your every thought, up to the extend when a silly joking “spell” work immediately, and you are shocked to find this out.
It could come as a desperate search for answers our daily life has stopped providing.
Or your innate healing gift awakens and you finally figure out why people tend to get attracted to you and feel better just by your presence.
And then, the moment you start digging to figure out what to do with this awakening, it is more than likely you get confused with the flood of information in internet, books, acquaintances who are already on their Paths and do their best to help you by recommending traditions, practices, spell recipes etc.
You try to learn it all, navigate it, apply all you learn, create your sequences of rituals and practices and totally do your best to develop.
Until the moment you hit the most unexpected of burnouts – the spiritual burnout.
Because this is a thing too. Striving to do everything, learn everything, stay informed, not miss out on the next practice, next crystal, next New Moon charging or cleansing ritual, facing contradicting statements in the different traditions, trying to lean into your Sacred Feminine comes just on top of your traditional, down-to-earth and already demanding life. You know, the job, and household, and taking care of family – this hasn’t gone anywhere just because spirituality has found it fitting to fall on your head exactly now. All the daily routines are still on you and nobody has given green light to ditch the cleaning, or going to work and dealing with the annoying colleague that overindulges in your kindness and high working ethics.
Awakened spirituality is all the more challenging when there is no one in your circle to speak with this about.
You may be afraid of “have you gone nuts now?” reactions, or your friends and family are not into spirituality, or are of different beliefs that might be conflicting with the concept.
The good news is you have not gone nuts, even if it feels this way even to yourself. Тhere are many more women on the same path, and walking the same challenges. And they are exactly the ones you can freely, supportively discuss your insights with.
If you feel you need more specific support on your spiritual path and/or the burnout that comes with it, book a call with me and I will help you navigate these beautiful and challenging changes.
